Biography
Juan Pablo Martínez Cardona, known artistically as CIKTRIZ, was born in Valencia, Spain. From an early age he moved to Colombia, where he grew up and immersed himself in the rich cultural and musical diversity of the country. This environment deeply influenced his perception and appreciation of electronic music.
His facet as a DJ began in 2022, adopting a personal approach to capture his intimate vision of techno in the current Valencia scene. Textures, atmospheres and Birmingham techno are some of the sounds that usually stand out in his sessions.
A careful musical selection and meticulous technical work have led him to play in the main clubs of Valencia, such as Club Gordo and Spook. Currently, he is a member of SONS, a Valencian collective that shares the same principles and musical approach that CIKTRIZ has maintained since the beginning.
The combination of his Valencian and Colombian roots has enriched his style, bringing a unique fusion of influences that are reflected in each of his performances.
