Astoria - best described as music that enters through time, space and light - A four-track EP exploration where ancient ancestral pulse meets kaleidoscopic sonic design. Nabil Hayat presents Astoria the next EP which focusses on percussion wrapped in shimmering layers of electronic textures. Astoria chants through distant dimensions - to swirling synths that bloom like spectral auroras, each track is a sonic invocation-both grounding and transcendent. As usual Astoria is a colour palette collected and arranged into a combination then used to do live jams - It is native, ancient, ancestral, exotic and hypnotic - Sonic textures drift in and out like spirits-whispering ancient truths in spectral tongues, while driving kick drums and bass lines guide the listener through a trance of memory and movement. Astoria is a reminder that we are rhythm - which produces light and equates to colour or mood - the way we choose to perceive our reality or surroundings in any given time or moment.
