Description
With the Group project, about which nothing is known, the Spanish label Subsist is making a big splash in the world of ambient music with industrial sounds. With Post-Industrial, images of desolate cities and territories crossed by streams of radioactive currents follow one another. Machines activate chaotically to weave invisible links between precariously balanced concrete buildings. Computers cough up bursts of mechanical spittle, rhythms drift off course as if to reveal a hidden path beneath the rubble of a single thought. Disturbing and labyrinthine, each track is the fruit of the previous one, the offspring of a world in decline, stripped of all traces of humanity except those that give life to this amalgam of the end of the world. The atmospheres escape from the everyday life that inspires them, creating an empty space filled with carnal non-life and inhabited by quantum metaphysics, crossing virtual walls to burst into subliminal images. A ghostly album escaped from a parallel sphere and collided with the darkness and nihilism of a world in decline, running inexorably towards its demise. Cold and brilliant like a black diamond.
