Liuos began producing music in the early 90s, armed with an Amiga 500 and tracker-based programs. Those early years were spent exploring a wide range of genres, laying the foundation for a versatile approach to electronic music.
Over time, his creative focus shifted toward minimal and monotonic techno, with a deep appreciation for its hypnotic repetition and stripped-back intensity. For years, Liuos produced exclusively on limited hardware setups, embracing the discipline and character that came with such constraints.
Eventually, he returned to the world of software synths and computer-based sequencing — a move that unlocked new creative possibilities. This shift led him to discover dub techno, where spacious textures, deep basslines, and atmospheric echoes merged seamlessly with his techno roots.
