Colin Bobb, also known as Sensational, is a rapper from Brooklyn, New York, known for his often lo-fi and unique rap style.
He is also known for his often eclectic collaborations, which were first heard in 1993 under the name Torture on the Jungle Brothers' single ‘Troopin' On The Downlow’.
Later in 1993, he featured heavily on the unreleased Jungle Brothers album Crazy Wisdom Masters (produced by Bill Laswell), which was deemed too ‘experimental’ by Warner Bros. and therefore not released.
He is often very productive, but also known for brief periods of homelessness, as documented in his documentary ‘The Rise and Fall and Rise Of Sensational’. It is not known how extensive Sensational's discography actually is, as he can often be found on the streets of New York selling his music.
